Hey Kelly:

When you refer to fasting, are you necessarily referring to IM fasting from Robb Wolf's camp or do you have others in mind?

These posts are the reason I keep checking here. That was an excellent and simple explanation, Kelly. I'll be showing this to some of my friends.

And Pie, we've only met a couple times since I was usually coming to the gym in the morning when I was around last winter, but I'll be back later this month, hopefully we can share some workouts. Grats on the engagement.

don't know when the wedding is, we haven't gotten that far yet. I only have interest in bettering my application of strength and power in multiple disciplines so I will stay with the 3 on 1 off. I am going to try and do a little less in the gym and see if I can keep my body fresher.

The Pie's last blog post..Push Pressing

It depends on your goals, the goals of my programming is not to "gain muscle" but rather to become more technically proficient in the lifts. Same goes for people doing crossfit, dpends on their goals and reasons for doing crossfit. If they are looking at becomming well rounded "fit" then I still stand by the 3 days on 1 day off crossfit model, however, if muscle gain is the primary goal, crossfit programming may not be the most effective.

-congrats on the engagement pie!!! Whens the wedding?

How do you think this relates to crossfit's 3 days on 1 day off programming? Or your programming where you are hitting some sort of lifting almost each day?

The Pie's last blog post..Chelan and I got Engaged!!!!!!
