Me and Amy just got back from Angels wedding late last night and check out the email I just got from Nate:
Hello!
Just to keep everyone up to date, Angel and I woke up in the midst of Tropical Storm Omar. It is steadily turning into a small hurricane. Scott and Stacie left this morning and according to the internet their flight left on time. So we are hoping to be able to leave as well. Of course it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world to stay another day in Curacao. The only problem is all the beaches and all the resorts are getting a lot of damage. The beach you all witnessed us get married at is now under water with 6-10 foot waves crashing down. This is the worse storm Curacao has seen in 30 years according to some of the local staff. The storm is heading away from Curacao but the weather will be getting worse until Wednesday night. We are safe and sound and about to enjoy our last dinner, Lobster, Steak and Champagne, in our room. We had such a great time with all of you and can’t wait to see you all again.
We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for coming and sharing the best day of our lives… so far.
