Snatch Clinic Reminder, Nutrition Seminar Date Change

Hey all, just a reminder of the snatch clinic next Saturday from 1-4. We will be breaking down the snatch into its individual components and doing drills working on improving flexibility, coordination and power transfer. People of ALL skill levels are welcome, let your friends know. Cost for the 3 hour clinic is $50 for Crossfit Vancouver Members and $70 for non members.

The following Saturday (January 24th) will then be the nutrition seminar from 1-3. Cost for the two hours seminar is $25 and will include a booklet summarizing the most relevant nutrition research out there. Topics to be covered include:
• Do’s and Don’ts and the reasons WHY
• Protein-the building block, warning about Dairy
• Fat-Why we need it, facts about cholesterol
• Carbs-the low down on grains
• Importance of stabilizing insulin levels
• Danger of artificial sweeteners
• Tweaking the zone for mass gain and fat loss
• Intermittent fasting.

For those of you who can not make it on the weekend, there will also be a repeat of the session on WEDNESDAY January 28th from 7-9m. Please email me in advance so I can make sure there are enough booklets prepared.
