Food log, costs, preparations, reasons…

Benson asked what I eat and how I prepare my meals, how much I spend… so I started with an empty fridge yesterday (as I just got to san jose-so Im talking literally no food to my name), spent $55 at trader joes last night and now Im going to record what I eat each day, how much I spend on food, how I prepare and package things and some of the reasons why I do what I do. At the end of each day I will update the comments with what I ate and any notes or reasons. Too start off, here is what I had for breakfast: Breakfast: • Cucumber white tea-just buy white tea and add slices of cucumber too it. Very refreshing! Also tastes great if you do up a pot and drink it cold. • Lettuce wraps with 100grams nitrate free organic roast beef (gotta love trader joes), 1 tbs garlic hummus and 2 spears broccolini) –this morning I made six of them up, 2 of which I ate, so now I can just grab the others as I am running out of the house. The nice thing about having lettuce wraps for breakfast in the morning is that first off, they are easy to eat and you could make them up the night before and throw them in the fridge, secondly, it breaks the habit of eating traditional breakfast foods, and thirdly, they get protein in you first thing in the morning which will make you full for longer and jump start the metabolism and muscle repair processes.
