Progress!

Hey all, A lot of progress has been made on Fit4YouNutrition.com.

The content available in the members forum section (http://www.fit4younutrition.com/message-board.html) has doubled and the guides are all being revised with more explanations and a significant number of additions, tips, recipe ideas and bonus sections.  The new releases will be ready early November.  They will also be available in hard copy for those looking for Christmas present ideas!  Email me if you are interested.

And there has been a new addition to the fit4you5.  After attending the paleo brands conference where Loren Cordain called vitamin D the most important supplement known to man, I started looking more into it, asking a whole lot of questions to very knowledgeable people, and have come to the conclusion that it needs to be part of the Fit4You5.  For a break down of how it works and why its so important, check out the new article hear: http://fit4you.getforum.org/board/vitamin-d-now-part-of-the-fit4you5-t85.html#p166

Keep your questions comming

    Just received this email:
    Hey Kelly,

I work in an office with no windows. I just started taking vitamin d last week. I’m taking 1000ui/day, I’m guessing I should up it to 5000ui/day?

I take about 8grams of fish oil a day already.

Other then that I take a multivitamin and magnesium.

Do I need the magnesium by itself?

    Best, Darren

My Response: Hey BK, how goes it???

Ya, I probably would at least at the beginning. Most of us are so vitamin D deficient that it takes a while to stalk the levels up, once they are stalked up, then you can drop it back down.

As far as the magensium goes, its usually a pretty minimal dossage in the multi (magnesium helps absorb other nutrients which is why they put it in multies). Especially for people who have trouble sleeping, I would say add another mg at night.

There will be a whole lot more info on magnesium, vitamin d and fishoil in the fit4you5 pocket guide which will be ready in november.
